The Peacocks, 2 stained glass panels designed in colaboration with a special client of Ben's .
These 2 works are designed to sit opposite each other and make a single work. However, it was crucial that they are also able to be individual pieces and be shown on their own. They have cusom made timber frames which the glass sits in and allows them to be placed on any window sill to catch the natural daylight.
They are inspired by the clients pilrigmages to the Mount Tabor chapel where there are 2 peacocks depicted in stained glass in the western window which are an aincent symbol of eternal life.
