Light Within. A unique stone and stained glass sculpture.

This project was to help the 'Team' of the Dingle Coast Guard with their efforts to raise as much as possible for the Kerry Hospice Foundation in Tralee. Whilst the 6 members of the DCG Team set about completing the 4 Peaks Challenge, in a record time, in some of the worst possible conditions, Ben was able to donate a piece of his work to their cause.

They not only managed to complete the 4 highest peaks in Ireland in under 27 hours they also found a sponsor to purchase the sculpture who then donated it to be on permanent display the Palliative Care Unit in Trallee. The work in local stone and stained glass will serve as a lasting symbol of hope and compassion to all who visit the centre.

An amazing €15,870 was raised by the fantastic members of the Dingle Coast Guard team. The sculpture was bought by a local business man who generously then donated it to become a permanent feature  at the hospice in Tralee.
