Bronze Gallery

My bronze works began in the foundry section at Camberwell Collage of Art back in 2003, where i worked the classic 'Gun Metal' bronze with our head of the sculpture department who was himself a bronze casting Master. I am always looking for the beauty of tone and form in the subjects I wish to create and I have found an abundance of these elements in the models and athletes I have been fortunate enough to have worked with. Unlike the carving process, which is almost the complete reverse in practice as I am removing material to find the form within a block of stone, working with bronze allows me to model the subject from a core and thus build it from the inside. These two classical disciplines have given me a deep understanding of how to best utilize these skills in my works and add my own touch in a contemporary way.

I have portrait works in public museums and Arts Centers in both London and the Isle of Mann and many of my other bronze pieces are now in private collections across the world. I have a very limited edition of 9 of 2 of my torso works, Adam and Blue Nude, please get in touch here if you would like to know more about either of these pieces.
