Fragments of our time...

Ben carves many of his timeless works from statuary marble which he collects  himself from deep in the heart of mountains in Carrara. He has sculptures in many public and private collections from the Royal Academy of Music in London, to Australia, Hong Kong, South Africa, the USA, throughout Europe and the UK. In 2020 he relocated to the west coast of Ireland and is now represented by Belgravia Gallery, Surrey Hills, in the UK and The Curlew Shores Gallery as well as Greenlane Gallery in Dingle.

"My work as a sculptor is always evolving and as I begin this new chapter of life here in Ireland, (the home of my maternal ancestors) I start to get a deeper understanding of the rocks I shape and begin to see how they also shape me.

Surrounded by the Atlantic ocean with majestic hills and mountains rising into the skies, this 'Co Kerry' landscape draws me to its heart and it is here I find my inspiration and a true sense of peace."

Ben has developed an international reputation for his sculpture and is becoming highly collectable as a contemporary artist. Clients include: Royal Academy of Music Museum, London. Thomas Heatherwick studios, Bacardi. Art Trail for Upper Hunter Valley with 2 Rivers Vineyard, NSW Australia. AVIVA & BT London head offices. The Welsh Assembly. City of Bath & Bristol

From large corporate clients to personal one off special commissions, Ben has been delivering a unique blend of bespoke artworks for over 2 decades. Why not contact him about that idea and discuss the possibilities.

Marble has long been considered one of the finest materials a sculptor can work with and Ben has spent time in the mountains of Carrara Italy working this much sought after material into some highly collectable pieces of fine art. His 'Modern with tradition' approach brings a unique feel to his work.

The hand painted stained glass pieces Ben creates use light as the key. The larger outdoor sculptures capture the ever changing daylight and have a unique 'living' aspect to them. Always giving the viewer a new experience with each passing day. The smaller indoor works share this aspect in a more intimate way, blending colours and form.
