Caerwedros Talking Stone September 2013

S4C (Welsh C4 TV) interview Ben on his talking stone and the many famous character references hidden in the back surface.

My Talking Stone project for Caerwedros. This large standing slate stone has become a marker for the new village hall with the lettering reflecting the ancient Celtic Welsh history of this land. The words from the famous Welsh bard Waldo Williams, along with the the pictorial references carved in relief, (within hidden spaces in the back of this stone), will tell many tales.

Some of the detail on the reverse: these characters all make up something of the rich history of this part of west Wales and become talking points for those who wish to explore a little deeper.
